We then continue through the Garden Route visiting Knysna, Wildernis and Oudtshoorn (Ostrich capital of the world) until we reach Cape Town, our final destination.

We include a number of very nice activities along the route and visits to historical sites.

In total, we will cover about 4000 Km and many unforgettable memories.

Description of Route:

From Johannesburg we travel towards the beautiful area of the Blyde River Canyon and we visit the Panorama Route.

We make a stop to enjoy the wonders of God's Window and the three Rondawels with the fantastic Blyde River Canyon (the third largest in the world).

We the stop and enjoy a few holes at Bourkes Pot Holes.

We enter then The Kruger park, where we go for a safari. Wilderness awaits us and will greet us from all directions.

We spend 3 days traveling through different landscapes in the Kruger Park, and we enjoy some traditional meals and some traditional dances.

We then leave the Kruger park via the south and we head towards the coast. On our way we visit Swaziland and here we visit the glass factories and experience the making of glass artifacts.

We then head towards the coastal area of HluHluwe and we visit one of the oldest national parks in South Africa. Here we will experience the real jungle type vegetation and fauna.

Leaving Hluhluwe we go to one of the world Heritage Sites: St Lucia estuary. This is a place to be seen, where hippos roam free through town and so do bands of mongoose and if you fancy a fishing spot with a difference, try sitting next to one of the resident crocodiles.

We leave this wonderful place and we head south visiting Durban and its beach front, where one can enjoy a swim and a good view.

Heading south we visit a few unique coastal spots such as Margate. Bikinis and surfing is the thing of the day here.

We leave natal and we head towards the wild coast, passing through Mandela's home town. Here is where you will see the real South Africa, full of rich African cultures and spirit.

We pass through East London, car capital of South Africa, and we reach Port Elizabeth.
After a short visit we then visit the Addo Elephant Park, where we can see our large friends at their best.

We carry on south and visit the beautiful town of Knysna but before getting there we visit the place of the highest Bungee jumping in the world. We also get to feel one of the giant Yellow Wood trees in the forests of the Tsitsikama. These giants are 800+ years old and they are still with us.

We take a drive through the Knysna Forests and enjoy the Knysna lagoon and its wonders.

We head now inland towards the Klein Karoo desert and we visit the town of Oudsthoorn, Ostrich capital of the world.

Here we learn all about these creatures and if we are lucky we get to ride one too.

Nothing is more spectacular than a visit to Cango Caves, the largest in South Africa. This is a place of incredible power and one feels very small in such an incredible place.

A drive up Swartberg pass is a must to enjoy a wonderful view.

We carry on south through the interior until we reach Cape Town.

We have completed 6500 km.
