This is where it all began, in the
Cape with the Dutch Settlers.
With a stunning Table Mountain Back drop it is no wonder the
Mother of all Cities.
In Cape Town, we visit first and
foremost of course Table Mountain, with 1081 Mt above sea
level, gives the most spectacular views of the city.
We then visit The Bo kaap,
Place of the Malay Quartes, With its Historical past and
magic beauty. Chiapini street with it's multicolored houses
is a representation of the real nature of our beautiful
Rainbow Nation.
We visit the Cape of Good Hope Castle, the oldest
building in the Country. Shaped as a star, with 180mt from
point to point, built in the shape of a star, it is a place
of rememberance
We work our way to the Company
gardens, passing the Old Customs building and
also the City hall, where Nelson Mandela gave
his first speech after being released from prison.
The many museums in the gardens are a must for those that
enjoy museum visits. There is the Art Gallery, The South
African History and Cultural museum, the Planetarium, and
the Holocaust Museum, all in one spot!!
